Look, Bill -- and all you other helpful schmucks at Microsoft:

When I select text in a program, I want to select just that text. I do not want the software to assume that I want to select three characters following what I actually selected. You are not helping.

When I type anything, I want what I typed. Don't underline URLs and remove the brackets. Don't highlight and correct what you think are spelling and grammatical mistakes. Do not change the case on my words. I am not a ignorant fool. I know how to write — and I write better than your POS software does.

Get the Hell out of my life, and stay out.
