Amazon settles with the owners of another stupid patent. It was just so original of them to let people listen to the music before the sale.

I suggested to a project manager once that Systems should be involved earlier in the sales cycle, before the product is sold. Is that a patentable business innovation, or does it just make sense to involve the people who know the product in the sales cycle?
