Tuesday, September 09, 2003The Cheap and Easy Way to Get Administrator Privileges on an NT4 Box
The pre-requisites: the password to account with privileges to logon locally, and one schmuck. I need to confirm these procedures after converting the filesystem to NTFS.
- Logon as the less privileged user.
- Run rdisk.exe.
- Take the floppy to another box and run l0phtcrack.
- Return to the original box and logon as Administrator.
- Do a little dance.
