The incredible thing about each person being their own publisher, about a billion pamphleteers, is that you can get to know the people behind the scenes. You see the man behind the curtain. Relationships become just a little more transparent.

The horrible thing is that relationships become more transparent.

And you begin to despise what this transparency reveals.

Ban Output. Period.

Ed Felten points out that Hollywood is, well, torn: Give Us Analog. No Wait, We Meant Digital.

Depending on the day of the week, they want to ban digital output, or analog output, or both. Why don't they just cut right to the chase, and ask for Congress to mandate ball gags and amputations.
