The Jet Set

We flew jetBlue from New York (JFK) to Orlando (MCO) on our recent trip. I must say that I was extremely pleased. Their customer service is fantastic! All of the staff were polite, efficient, and, above all, helpful. And when it came time for our anti-dehydration supplies, instead of the cart system, where you wait and wait for your drink and stale chips, watching that cart inch slowly through the plane, they asked us what we would like to drink. Then they brought it! And they have a variety of snacks: Terra Blue® potato chips, bagel chips, pretzels, animal crackers, and biscotti.

On the flight back we left the gate 15 minutes early, because all the sardines had been packed into the can.

Oh, and there's no first class seating, so everybody has room for their legs. Who knew such a thing was possible?

If Music be the Food of Life

We eat out a lot. Most of our discretionary income goes to food. But of the restaurants we frequent, none offer live music to accompany dinner. The Cinema Cafe did, but they closed. I wonder if musicians frequent Stoneleigh Creek? Obviously we need to expand our horizons, perhaps to the Towne Crier. There are two problems here: 1) the cover charge makes dinner too expensive, and 2) the Big Sister's bedtime is 19:30, and the Little Sister barely sleeps. Just want someplace where a real person plays while we eat.
