Planning a Disaster

Paul Hoffman notes an article in Network World on objections by New York politicians to locating disaster recovery sites for the financial industry well away from the primary sites. Pataki and Bloomberg object to this proposed requirement. My representative, Sue Kelly (R-NY), happens to be on the House Committee on Financial Services. Perhaps she'll be able to persuade them, since I expect my objections to go straight to the bitbucket.
