Can you point me in the right direction?

In the 49th week of this year, I noted that cool URIs require forethought, and that since I didn't predict that I might change the name of my journal from The Peanut Gallery to Cox Crow, I didn't choose a good URI for this beast. What I did do was ensure that the old URI won't die, at least as long as this domain exists. I'm using a permanent redirect to inform cognizant user agents that /journal/ is now /journal/. So, I was reading statistics on which HTTP requests were redirected, and noticed that /journal/rss.xml heads the list. Which user agents are these that have not replaced /journal/ with /journal/? A couple of spiders, Mozilla 3 of all critters, Syndic8, AmphetaDesk, and NetNewsWire Lite/1.0.2. Google will eventually perform the substitution, during the next dance, but I get the feeling that the others will need some prodding from their users.

And I Don't Even Bowl

I have to remove some items from my wish list. (Can other vendors do that through the Amazon API?) My wife bought me, among many other delightful presents, Robert Putnam's Bowling Alone, which Jon Udell had mentioned. The title alone started some discussions at the in-laws'.
