We’re thinking about getting the sisters kittens for Christmas. The Big Sister is carrying around her stuffed cat all the time now. She said,

Watch me for a week, and if I do a good job taking care of this cat, maybe I can have a cat.

    The cat has a rattle inside to simulate a purr. When I picked it up, it sloshed. So I asked her this morning if the cat had been drinking. “Dad, she’s a Pretend Cat.”
