Beer Tastings

Every now and then, Bill Davidsen and I exchange beers we think the other might like. So the other day, he dropped off a Weyerbacher AutumnFest and an Otter Creek. I tend to prefer the hoppier beers, but these were good for the season.

I need to get my palate educated so I can describe the flavors with more adjectives than good, drinkable, and bleh.

    Do you remember Amy Marchek (now Amy Cartwright)from my group? She and her husband Rob are throwing a launch party this weekend for their new brewery: Independence Brewing Co.. They’re starting with three brands: pale ale, brown ale, and wheat beer.
