Don't you just love the Internet? The level switch in one of our sump pumps failed yesterday, and again this morning. The first pump I bought couldn't handle discharge from the washer machine, so the one I'm picking up tonight had better. The plumbing department at Sears never picked up the phone, but that's OK — Sears.com now lets you order on-line and pick up at the closest store. They've tied the on-line catalog to each store's inventory, so I can see at a glance that they don't have what I need. Dill's Best, a supply store near me does. But will it handle soap suds? Let's find the OEM and see. This DoItBest pump is a re-branded Flint & Walling pump. The manual doesn't say. Guess that means it doesn't care.And all of this while on a five-minute phone call.
