The Lazy Man's Upgrade

Our friends with the red fedoras have announced the end-of-support dates for RedHat Linux 6.2 and other releases. This was expected.

Now, some folks are upgrading to Debian as a result, as well they should. I, however, will once again try the Lazy Administrator's RedHat Upgrade, this time from 7.0 to 7.3. There are some substantial differences between the two releases, but I expect nothing but success.

12:48 EST: I came back from lunch to a machine pretending to be RH7.3. Let's reboot into the new kernel and see if this works, shall we?

15:38 EST: kernels and kudzu and dependancies, oh my!
